Title: Trigonometric Parallaxes of Massive Star Forming Regions: VI.
Galactic Structure, Fundamental Parameters and Non-Circular Motions

Code names: galactic_peculiar_motions.f

Language: FORTRAN

Code tested under the following compilers/operating systems:
Mac OSX and Linux Fedora. Tested with G77

Description of input data:

Requires two input ascii text files and one data file per source:
Initial lines beginning with exclamation point (!) are comments
used for documentation and will be ignored by the program.

     File name Description
parameter_file.inp Gives values of Galactic/Solar parameters
                              and their uncertainties that are
used to transform to an LSR-like frame.
These values can be changed as desired to
                              reflect different Galactic rotation, solar
motion, and "average" source peculiar motions.
                              See example file for details

source_files.inp List of file names, 1 line per source file
                              See example file.

Each file listed should contain separate lines with
Source name (no blanks) and a kinematic near/far code (0=near; 1=far)
      RA (hhmmss.ss) (assumed in J2000)
      Dec(ddmmss.ss)
      Parallax and uncertainty (mas)
Eastward proper motion and uncertainty (mas/yr) (ie, RAmotion*cos(dec))
Northward proper motion and uncertainty (mas/yr)
      LSR velocity and uncertainty (km/s).
   See example files for details.

Description of output data:

Produces two outputs: printout and fort.10 file

Printout is a summary and should be self explanatory

   fort.10 file contains more details

System requirements:
  None

Calls to external routines:
  None

Additional comments:
Takes positions, parallaxes, and proper motions, and transforms to a
reference frame rotating with the Galaxy and calculates the peculiar
(non-cirucular) motions. Reid et al 2009 (Paper VI): March 2009

Please report any problems to Mark Reid (reid@cfa.harvard.edu)
